Film Festivals

Only A Number had its world premiere at the 2011 Garden State Film Festival, where it was awarded Best Music Composition for Aranka’s Theme. The film went on to receive a special jury award for Best Feature Documentary at the 2011 Jersey Shore Film Festival. Only A Number was an official selection of the Santa Rosa International Film Festival and was nominated for Best Documentary by the Orlando Film Festival in 2011.

Holocaust Education

A special edition DVD of Only A Number accompanied by a Study Guide has been recommended by the New Jersey Commission on Holocaust Education to middle and high schools for use in the curriculum with students in grades 7-12.

Private Screenings

Only A Number has been featured as a special program at a number of synagogues, schools, private groups, organizations and community associations, and included a Q&A discussion session with the filmmaker following the screening. One such program was the 2011 Yom HaShoah (Holocaust Remembrance) event at the Monmouth Reform Temple in Tinton Falls, New Jersey.
